The key concepts of analysis


 

Language: you can see it is a film poster by the title and the release date, there is a headline which quoted “they messed with the wrong mother” the poster shows how it’s a scary movie that will have a lot of action in it.

 

Industries: The film director is Luis Prieto. The main star in the film is Halle Berry. The producer gets most of the money. The movie was very successful. The movie was based on a true story.


Audience: The audience enjoyed the movie and the main star is Halle Berry who was the main character. This is enjoyment to the audience, the audience's feedback matters. sometimes the audience tend to learn something but it all depends on what the movie is based on and what it is about.

  The graphic identity / artist and song name on the white wall background works well. However, if that bit is performance lip-syncing it isn’t synced up correctly so you’ll need to either re-edit it to line it up or re-shoot it if the performance doesn’t match the song. This will be a vital aspect for the real coursework as you’ll need the lip syncing edited perfectly in time. The shots/narrative fit the feel of the song well. I wonder if it’s worth trying some filters or slow motion to increase the emotional intensity of the video?
